Serrano (49-4-1, 32 KOs) meets Manzur (14-4, 7 KOs) at the Pechanga Resort & Casino in Temecula.
Serrano is coming to the closing stages of her historic career, which has seen her win world titles in an astonishing seven weight classes.
‘The Real Deal’ has won twice since returning to featherweight after successive defeats to Katie Taylor at super lightweight.
The 37-year-old stopped Cheyenne Hanson in two rounds in her last outing in May to retain her belts.
The Puerto Rican makes yet more history on Friday in the inaugural unified women’s world championship contested over 12 two-minute rounds and will look to break Christy Martin’s knockout record.
Manzur looks to upset the odds in what will be a maiden world title birth.
The 27-year-old has won five on the bounce in her native Argentina.
