Amanda Serrano vs. Lucrecia Manzur fight recap
Amanda Serrano (50-4-1, 32 KOs) had a tough outing against Lucrecia Manzur (14-5, 7 KOs), winning by majority decision.
Although one judge saw it 114-114, the other two had it 116-112. Serrano remains the WBA and WBO featherweight world champion with the victory. This was her ninth defence of the WBO title, having won it against Heather Hardy in 2019. Serrano defended the WBA strap for the fifth time, having won it against Erika Cruz in 2023. Note: Serrano-Manzur was fought over 12 two-minute rounds instead of 10 two-minute rounds, the standard for world title fights featuring women.
Manzur tested Serrano’s chin early on with hooks upstairs. The Argentinian threw the jab often, helping to keep her opponent at bay. Manzur was also the one pressing forward, applying consistent pressure that mostly kept Serrano on the back foot.
Serrano was rocked by successive right hands in round four. She found herself getting hit repeatedly with overhand rights and right hooks. The one punch Serrano had success with was the left to the body. However, she was unable to keep Manzur off of her. The challenger appeared to have racked up a considerable lead on the scorecards thanks to her superior work rate.
Serrano started to put together combinations in round nine, beginning a period where she was outworking the challenger. She consistently landed punches to the body, appearing to bother the Argentinian. By this point in the fight, Manzur was only throwing one punch at a time and not having the kind of success she had earlier. Serrano finished strongly and her work was favoured by two of the judges in the end, allowing her to retain her world titles.
Mayelli Flores vs. Melissa Mortensen fight recap
Melissa Mortensen (10-0, 5 KOs) overcame an early knockdown to win via split decision against Mayelli Flores (13-3-1, 4 KOs).
Although one judge had it 95-94 for Flores, the other two saw it 95-94 for Mortensen. She is now the WBA super bantamweight world champion with the victory. The title had been vacated by Ellie Scotney following her decision to move up in weight.
Flores began the fight aggressively. She pressed forward and swung wildly at her opponent in an effort to make things uncomfortable. Mortensen was content with being on the back foot and sought to counter when she could. As she threw a right hand in round two, the Dane got hit with a left hook to the body that sent her to the canvas. Mortensen avoided further knockdowns for the rest of the fight, but still got hit often with eye-catching overhand punches and hooks throughout.
Flores continued to swing aggressively as the fight progressed, but found herself getting caught with counters upstairs repeatedly. Mortensen was rocked badly towards the end of round five by an overhand right, but was able to stay on her feet. Flores made things uncomfortable by pressing forward and swinging, but her approach was not as effective as she would have hoped. She missed on a number of occasions which allowed her opponent to counter.
Mortensen stuck with her approach of countering when possible, allowing her to win rounds. Flores may have made an impression for some by coming forward and swinging, but it was her opponent that did the better work consistently. It was ultimately a very close fight, but Mortensen showed a bit more quality overall in the end.
Amanda Serrano vs. Lucrecia Manzur undercard results
Jahmal Harvey (4-0, 3 KOs) won via second round knockout against Hammet Keb (7-3-1, 6 KOs). The official time of stoppage for their six-round lightweight fight was 2:48. Keb got hit with a right pull counter followed by left uppercut and an overhand right in the second. He fell hard on the canvas as a result and the fight was waved off immediately.
Avious Griffin (20-1, 19 KOs) won via fifth round technical knockout against Jackson Maríñez (23-5, 11 KOs). The official time of stoppage for their 10-round welterweight clash was 3:00. Maríñez was dropped in the fifth by a right hook to the head. Although he got up, he went to the canvas again shortly after from a one-two upstairs followed by a left hook to the body. Maríñez did not come out for round six.
Cinderella Linnear (2-0, 0 KOs) won a split decision against Jully Poca (1-1, 0 KOs) in a four-round super lightweight contest. Although one judge had it 39-37 for Poca, the other two saw it 39-37 for Linnear.
Keno Marley (3-0, 2 KOs) won via third round knockout against Braylan Brooks (1-1, 1 KO). The official time of stoppage for their four-round cruiserweight fight was 1:46. Brooks was dropped by an overhand right followed by two right uppercuts (which appeared to land after he had taken a knee). He did not beat the count, putting an end to proceedings.
Brook Sibrian (10-3, 4 KOs) won a unanimous decision against Lupita Medina (12-1, 3 KOs). Scores for their eight-round minimumweight clash were 78-74 (x2) and 77-75.
Nelvie Tiafack (5-0, 4 KOs) won via third round technical knockout against Salvador Zavala (7-1, 5 KOs). The official time of stoppage for this six-round heavyweight bout was 0:55. Zavala was stopped standing after struggling to defend himself from a number of power shots.

Iyana Verduzco (8-0, 1 KO) won a split decision against Miguelina Hernández (4-1, 3 KOs) in an eight-round featherweight fight. Although one judge had the action 78-74 for Hernández, the other two saw it 78-74 and 77-75 for Verduzco.
Jocelyn Camarillo (7-0, 1 KO) won a unanimous decision against Ashley Felix (7-5, 1 KO, 1 NC). Scores for their six-round minimumweight contest were 60-54, 59-55, and 58-56.
Paolo Barredo (7-0, 2 KOs) won a unanimous decision against Jorge Garcia (3-2, 3 KOs). Scores for their six-round 137-lb catchweight clash were 60-54 (x2) and 59-55.
Opening the broadcast on YouTube, Albina Moldazhanova (5-0, 5 KOs) won via first round knockout against Sheila Liesegang (6-1, 4 KOs). The official time of stoppage for this six-round super lightweight bout was 1:21. Liesegang was dropped by a left hook to the body and head. She was unable to beat the count, putting an end to proceedings.
