The legendary Roy Jones Jr. and his RJJ Boxing heads back to the Legends Casino Hotel on the grounds of the Yakama Nation in Tappenish, WA, on Friday, June 12 for the rematch between Natasha “The Nightmare” Spence vs. Maricela “La Diva” Cornejo for the WBA International Middleweight Championship. Spence won the first fight via unanimous decision.
The card is sponsored by RJJ Saving the Kids, whose slogan is “What are We Fighting For, One Punch Saves a Child’s Life.” RJJ Saving the Kids” is an innovative child abduction global charity, whose goal is to rescue abducted children and dismantle trafficking networks worldwide.

The undercard will feature two heavyweight bouts on a six-fight card that comprises local boxing stars, some of which are less than an hour’s drive from Legends and others as far as Spokane and Seattle. A Roy Jones’ trained heavyweight hails from Dallas.
In this exclusive interview, Jones Jr. discussed the importance of RJJ Saving The Kids as well as his excitement about the rematch between Spence and Cornejo and the stacked card overall. He also reiterated why a potential super-showdown between David “The Mexican Monster” Benavidez and Oleksandr Usyk is the fight to make at heavyweight. He dove into the intriguing battle between Boots Ennis and Xander Zayas and the comeback fight for Errol “The Truth” Spence, Jr. against the hard-hitting Tim Tszyu.
